We had such a great wedding a few weeks ago for Sean and Karla.  Karla was originally from SC but now lives in NY where she met Sean and it was a great mix of Santa Cruzers and New Yorkers.  The wonderful Heidi Hughett from Couture Celebrations was the coordinator and really put together a great team of professionals for the wedding.  (as a side note, anyone thinking of hiring a coordinator just do it, it’s really a great investment in  your special day.  Good coordinators can help you put together a team of professionals that will make your day perfect.  There are so many vendors out there that might have a great website but not much else so a coordinator can really save you from some bad decisions).

Anyway back to the wedding  They were married at the beautiful Holy Cross Church (where my parents were happily married over 35 years ago) and the reception followed at the Chaminade.  In between we went over to west cliff drive for some photos of the bridal party and Sean even broke out the ukulele to sing to Karla!  Here are just a few photos of the day, the slideshow is coming soon:

Last night we went over to SC for one of our favorite wedding coordinators Grand Opening of her new space.
Couture Celebrations had their Grand Opening last night at their new office space in the Old Sash Mill, if you are getting married in Santa Cruz (or the surrounding area, Carmel, Monterey, Aptos) check out Couture Celebrations, Heidi and Lia are just so sweet, they have a great energy and will take the best care of you on your wedding day. Believe me after seeing hundreds of weddings, having a professional coordinator is well worth it, they will save you so much stress and work so you can just enjoy your day.

My little sis got married a few weeks ago. It was a fun wedding and for the first time in years I wasn't the main photographer :) Joey captured the wedding so I was able to hang out and have fun, I did bring my camera though to shoot some images but just did some fun stuff for me.
