Here was another great wedding that Joey shot for Scott and Amanda. It was at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz, which is such a beautiful spot to get married. Beautiful views of the coast and a wonderful atmosphere.

Great Video

I got to help my wife out this weekend at a women's conference that she was speaking at. I did some photography for them and it was pretty awesome to see my wife speaking and encouraging so many women. At the start they had a youth group come on stage to perform a skit that just had everyone there in tears, I have seen this skit online before but it still was pretty powerful seeing it again. Check out the YouTube video below, but make sure to have some kleenex ready:

David and Lauras Slideshow

This was another really fun wedding last month.  David and Laura are such a cute couple and the first dance they had was such a blast!  When David is on the floor watch out, he has all of Michael jackson's moves and tore it up.  The wedding was downtown at St. Josephs and then the reception at the St. Claire Hotel.

Time to update with some photos We have been editing so much over here and working on album non stop that I haven't had much to to post some images.  There are ton's of great recent weddings  we have to share and I'll post some images, slideshows and cool album designs this weekend.  Here is a recent slideshow from Yoali and Javier's wedding at the Historic Dunsmuir House in Oakland. The Dunsmuir house is a beautiful place to get married at with towering trees, lush gardens and a majestic turn-of-the-century mansion. Bay Area Wedding Photography Update

Last weekend

Last weekend was such a fun weekend of weddings, I have been so busy catching up this past week that I didn't have anytime to post about our past weekend so here is a brief run down.  Once I have more time I will post some images:

Friday we photographed Valerie and Josh's wedding at the Decathalon Club in San Jose.  They are such a fun couple, I was able to shoot 2 engagement shoots with them over the past year so when the wedding date came along it was so easy to photograph them (They had a very beautiful, elegant wedding) it was a great way to start the weekend off.

Saturday I was at David and Lauras wedding in downtown San Jose.  They had a beautiful church ceremony at St. Josephs and then the reception at the St. Claire.  I haven't been to the St. Claire in awhile since they renovated the courtyard and it was really nice.  David and Laura I think had the best first dance I have seen in awhile, David broke into a little Michael Jackson routine halfway through and it was great, they both put on a good show!
Joey was over in Santa Cruz on Saturday at the Chaminade for Amanda and Scotts wedding.  It looks like it was a fun wedding with lots of cool Disney themed things at the reception.

And we ended the weekend up in Oakland for Trang and Rons wedding.  They had a nice tea ceremony in the morning at a nice downtown hotel and then another ceremony and reception at the Dunsmuir House.  They had an awesome band at the reception that kept everyone dancing.  It was a wonderful wedding and a great way to end the weekend.

Monday I did have to sleep in a little bit and then all week have been back at the editing station, cranking away at weddings and albums.

Once I get caught up this week I will post more details and photos.

Gilroy Gardens Wedding photos

Andrew and Sarah

This wedding was so fun and unique.  It was the first time I shot a wedding at bonfonte gardens (actually gilroy gardens now) and it is really a great place to get married.  Inside the park they have a very seculed place to have your reception so you don't even know you are in the park, it's quiet and surrounded by trees and greenery.   And then the cool thing is if you want to take some photos in the park and have fun you can, they will even let you ride on the rides.  Here are a few shots from their day, congratulations guys!!!

We started the day off playing a few games with the guys and riding the roller coaster:

Afterwards we were able to get Sarah and Andrew on one of the cars to take a little ride:

Sarah really likes waterfalls and  Bonfonte has a bunch, so we stopped on one right before
the reception started:






The reception site is really nice with lots of trees and flowers surrounding you, here are some
shots of the reception:










At the end of the night we setup a few lights to capture some shots that I really liked.
