Shooting weddings is such a gratifying thing.  You get to be with the bride and groom and their family all day long and experience they day as if you were a family member.  Always at the end of the day you feel so close to the family since you are such a huge part of capturing their day.  I always put so much of myself into my work and strive to capture amazing images of my clients days.  After the wedding it feels so good to have the bride shed a tear when viewing her images for the first time, I know I  did my job right when that happens.
Or to hear confirmation from my clients that they love my images as much as I do, that just feels so good.

His work with color is amazing and his artistic touches make your photos very unique. Congrats Kari and Tommy (who were married on Sat at Wente Vineyards in Livermore) the party Rocked and you guys are such a fun couple! Everytime I went to shoot Tommy and the groomsmen they had me cracking up, they are all a fun group of guys and the day turned out Awesome!

This is right before Bless walked down the Aisle with her dad, Hans Faden
had such a beautiful grounds that the bride walks up with lots of trees, bushes
and beautiful flowers.  It makes for a very cool, dramatic entry:

Issac and Jessie

I just finished up Issac and Jessie's wedding images, what a fun wedding!  One of the highlights of the day was driving in the trolley from the Carmel mission to the Monterey Plaza for the reception.  We took a few stops along the way and captured some great images.

Here is a shot from Issac and Jessies wedding in Carmel.
The wedding was at the Carmel mission which is such a beautiful place
to get married at.  Here is a shot I liked when they were leaving the church.
The wedding was such a blast and we captured some fun shots of the bride
and the groom along 17 mile drive after the wedding.  I will
post a few of those images later.

Since Randy was harassing me on my last post for my slacking on the blog lately, here is a recent shot that I just finished.  Valerie and Josh are a wonderful couple that I have been able to photograph a few times now.  It was a beautiful day in Santa Cruz and they even got wet at the end of the day :)

Finally hit 100 miles!

Finally hit 100 miles!

It took me awhile but I finally ran 100 miles!  Click the link below for proof I made it to 100 miles :) I know the pace is still pretty slow and need to pick that up before the Wharf to Wharf come up in the summer.  Also just to remind everyone if you want to run the wharf to wharf with me let me know, hopefully we can get a good group of people together.  I am going to print up some shirts also so we can all wear matching stagi imagery shirts :)  just let m know if you plan on running it and I will send you a shirt.

My workout log

My workout log

I told everyone I would post my nike + goals online so everyone can see my running status.
I will keep this updated a few times a week and hopefully since people are reading this that  will
keep me motivated to get out and run more often.  Also I am going to be running the Wharf to Wharf in
July so need to be in decent shape by then.

Here is my April goal for miles, I have taken a few days off so hopefully will get out there today.
For May though I need to pick up the pace and will set a goal of 30 miles in May (right now I run about 3 times a week anywhere from 1-3 miles a time)
