Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is such a beautiful place.  We just got back from a little snow trip for some snowboarding and had such a great time.  My wife used to work with someone who has a house up there and he rents it out to people he know's for a pretty good price.  We went up on Friday with Andrew and one of his friends from school.  Lisa's sister and husband met us up  there and 2 of our other friends Rachael and Raul.  The trip was a blast, almost everyone other than Lisa and I were first time boarders so it was fun to try and help them make it down the slopes and see some crazy crashes.

I love to snowboard it is just such a relaxing sport and the views are always awesome from Hevanly.  We only rode for one day but it was just perfect.  The weather was warm up there also, it was crazy.  There was hardly any snow and it was in the 60's so after a full day of skiing we were all worn out.  Yesterday we were going to go back up but it was raining a little and the conditions would have been pretty ugly, so we heading home a little earlier than planned.  I brought Lisa's little point and shoot Canon so I will try to post a few images later.

Yo Adrian!

Yo Adrian!

Here is Rocky after winning his first big fight, with his lovely Adrian in the background.
After shooting Marissa and Lawrence in their Rocky gear for 2 days I did start to feel that Lawrence was
Rocky! He is a great actor.  Here is a shot from their engagement shoot, more to come later:

Marissa and Lawrence Engagement Session

Marissa and Lawrence

We had the most amazing engagement shoot last week for Lawrence and Marissa.  They really love movies and wanted to re-create some movie stills for their engagment images.  Since Lawrence is into boxing and likes Rocky we did a entire rocky serires including some images shot inside a ring, them ice skating and many other cool shots.  We also did some retro style shots  to look like the notebook movie and a few other looks for the shoot.  It took us two days to shoot and I will be working on the images for the next week or so.  I can't wait to finish them up since the final shots will look great, it will just take some time to go through everything.

It was really a fun engagement shoot and they were so into it.  I think Marissa and Lawrence should be actors
because they really played the parts well and had a great energy all day long.

I'll post some up  next week!

Magazine Style Wedding Albums

Magazine Style Wedding Albums

We often get questions from brides who had someone else photograph their wedding and saw the albums that we created for friends of theirs.  A lot of times their photographer can't create a wedding album for them, so they are looking to have someone else design the album.  We can help any bride out with their album design provided you have the digital negatives and a release from the photographer.  If you want more information on our album design services check out our album website:

Magazine Style Wedding Albums

Also if you are a photographer and don't want to deal with the design, we do offer custom made album
designs (from scratch, no templates), so if you want to create these types of albums for your clients but don't have the technical expertise just let us know.  Photographers information for albums

Albums are always extremely fun to create and very creative, I should be finishing up our last wedding album from our december 30th wedding soon and will post for everyone to see.

Have a great week,

Engagement session in the rain

Engagement session in the rain

We had a fun engagement session yesterday at the beach in Monterey.  Lauren and James are such a cute couple and even though it was raining most of the session they were great sports and never let it bother them.  The funny thing is Lauren's cousin was married last year and we photographed their engagement session and wedding and it rained at their engagement session at the beach also.  I know there will be some great images of them and will post them later this week.
